La clase fue sobre los siguientes paises: NORUEGA, ALEMANIA, FRANCIA, ESPANYA, TURQUIA y ARABIA SAUDIEste es el orden en el que hicimos la presentacion de cada pais.
Para los que no lo sepais, EF es el nombre de la escuela. Simulamos ser "EF Airlines" y fuimos "volando" de un pais a otro con el Google Earth, con despegue y aterrizaje incluido en cada parada.
Si os fijais en la foto de mas abajo, podreis ver que hay un chico con traje de Capitan. Y otros dos hicieron de "azafatas". Estuvo muy bien.
Me han de pasar el Power Point con todas las presentaciones y el video de una cancion en Noruego cantada por estudiantes y profesores de EF y estudiantes americanos de The Evergreen State College. Pero como todavia no lo tengo y quiero publicar ya el Post, he utilizado las fotos con las que hice mi Power Point (el cual no puedo habrir debido a una larga historia).



Este es el resumen de mi presentacion:
Primero de todo hable un poco sobre Espanya en general. Explique que el Espanyol es la lengua oficial comun en todo el territorio, pero que existen tres lenguas co-oficiales que se hablan en determinadas regiones. Sabeis las que son???? ;-p
Tambien ensenye fotos de lugares que queria que la gente conociese, al menos de pasada. Nuestras Torres Mapfre y Sagrada Familia, el Museo Guggenheim y las Torres Kio.
Despues de estab breve introduccion, me fui a los toros.
Explique la figura del torero y que es el toreo. Que el torero acaba clavando la espada en el corazon del toro con el objetivo de darle una muerte "limpia y rapida" pero que esto no siempre se consigue. Por este motivo, esta tradicion es considerada por mucha gente un ejemplo de crueldad hacia los animales.
La foto que os he puesto aqui es un cartel de la corrida de todos "grafiteado".
Despues de los toros llegaron las Sevillanas, concretamente la Feria de Abril. Empieza dos semanas despues de Semana Santa, un domingo justo a media noche con el alumbrado de la entrada principal y durante ocho noches y ocho dias la gente canta y baila Sevillanas continuamente, bebe vino y come tapas.
La foto que veis me la envio Rut. Lo mejor es que entre esas "bailaoras" se encuentra Olga, su companyera de casa Rusa. Mola, eh!!
En el apartado en ingles voy a copiar mi "discurso" y los que os apetezca lo podeis leer y sabreis exactamente lo que explique.

Aqui estamos todos los participantes, junto con dos "infiltrados". La chica de la derecha que es Coreana (Rudia) y el chico de abajo a la izquierda con gafas (William) que es Colombiano.
El espectaculo final fue danza Arabe. Yo aprendi el paso basico. Era parecido al "corro de la patata", pero mas mas profesional, por supuesto.

§ SAGRADA FAMILIA (Holy Family Church) that is an unfinished church, under construction since 1882
§ TWIN TOWERS, they are an hotel and an insurance company building
o In BILBAO there is the GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM, that it’s a modern and contemporary art museum
o In MADRID there are also TWIN TOWERS, which are called KIO’S TOWERS.
- Now I'm going to introduce you the most famous entertainments in Spain: bullfighting and the Seville Spring Fair or April Fair
- BULLFIGHTING:
o The classic style was born in Spain. It’s practiced in Spain and also in many Latin American countries.
o The main character is the bullfighter, called “TORERO” or “MATADOR”, which means “KILLER”.
o The bullfighter uses a pink or red cape and a sword.
o He moves the cape to attract the bull and made that he passes through the cape.
o Finally, the bullfighter sticks the sword through the bull's heart with the aim of give him a quick and clean death.
o The PROBLEM is that not all the bullfighters can do that so well and sometimes de bull suffers a lot until he is dead. For this reason this tradition is considered for many pople an example of animal cruelty.
- SEVILLE SPRING FAIR or APRIL FAIR
o It is a traditional party
o It begins two weeks after Easter Holidays that is almost always in April.
o It always starts at midnight, with de lightin upon of the main entrance and runs during eight nights and eight days.
o There are built decorated tents, called “CASETAS”, where the people go to dance and sing Sevillanas, which is the most famous dance in Spain.
o During those days people drink wine and eat “TAPAS”.
o During the day, the main shows are horse parades and bullfightings.
